This is a feeding video.

Warrior Beetles (Pasimachus sp.) eat Devil Scorpions (Hoffmannius sp.) in the wild. They both inhabit the Sonora Desert of the American Southwest. The Devil Scorpion is considered a pest species in Arizona as it often enters homes and stings the occupants. It is interesting that the beetle seems to target the scorpion's tail first (to disable it) even though the beetle's armor is impervious to the stings.
